PIXPET Virtual Pet Keychain — Retro Electronic Digital Pet Toy
Feed it. Play with it. Find out who it becomes.
PIXPET is a pocket-sized virtual pet with a monochrome screen and four buttons — the format that took over school playgrounds in the nineties, rebuilt as a keychain you can actually clip to your keys.
Put the battery in and the egg on screen cracks open. From there it is yours to look after: feed it when it is hungry, play with it when it is bored, switch the light off at night, clean up after it. How your pet turns out depends on how you treated it — there are 168 creatures it can become, so two people with the same shell rarely end up with the same animal.
There is no text anywhere in the menu, only icons, so it works in any language. No app, no account, no charging cable.
In the parcel
- 1 × PIXPET virtual pet, keychain ring attached
- Sent in a padded bubble bag, not a printed retail box
It runs on a button cell — the flat round kind sold in every corner shop. One is usually fitted at the factory, but we would rather not promise it, so pick up a spare if you want to be sure of playing the day it arrives.
